General Sales Manager
A growing Automotive Group is actively searching for a General Sales Manager (GSM) to join their team. This would be a great opportunity for someone looking for big city income, but a relaxed work environment less than 2 hours from Omaha. The GSM is expected to be goal:oriented, performance:driven, uphold high ethical standards, have excellent customer service, and create a positive sales environment. This candidate should possess a high sense of urgency to achieve all sales and profit objectives.
Responsibilities:
:Responsible for growing profitability in both the new and pre:owned vehicle departments
:Ensure target revenues are met or exceeded
:Identify coaching needs and promote training opportunities
:Hire, mentor, and monitor the performance of department managers
:Set an example of professionalism through actions and appearance
:Assist in developing and managing an effective advertising and marketing plan
:Responsible for developing a productive relationship throughout the dealership
:Be the biggest promoter of customer service index (CSI) throughout the dealership
:Maintain a positive and ethical working relationship with all employees, manufacturers, lenders, vendors, and customers
Qualifications:
:Proven track record of achieving goals
:Outstanding communications skills
:Professional appearance and work ethics
:Excellent organizational skills
:Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
:Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
