Job Description:
3M is seeking a Business Transformation Site Lead for 3M Valley located in Valley, NE. At 3M, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter. Here, you go.
Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of Valley Business Transformation Site Lead will be responsible for ensuring readiness to deploy Valley on the new ERP systems and processes.
This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
+ Manage, Lead, and Develop direct reports from the various functional areas of the project
+ Serve as the primary contact for all site-level activities related to Business Transformation
+ Participate as a member of the plant operating committee
+ Communicating project activity to site leadership, plant functional leads, end users, and stakeholders
+ Articulating to Plant Manager the work that is happening at the site and the impact on resources, operations, etc.
+ Providing a conduit back to the Business Unit/Function on site specific issues that are impeding progress
+ Own local timelines, milestones, and key deliverables within the scope of the project
+ Work with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness activities are understood and on track to meet target timelines.
+ Updating site readiness metrics and tracking project progress compared to targets
+ Work with process areas site leads and stakeholders to resolve cross-functional gaps.
+ Identifying and resolving issues with active engagement and proper communication. As needed, escalating issues to the Plan-To-Deliver (PTD) lead.
+ Work closely with assigned Deployment Coach to understand project plan, timing, and deliverables.
+ Coach and assist in training local teams on change management
+ Collaborate with local site teams, US Area Process Leads (APL), Safety and Graphics Business Group Deployment Team, and Polaris organizations.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
+ Minimum of three (3) years of combined experience in Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations Management
+ 3M ERP experience
+ Project Management Skills
+ Detail-oriented with strong communication and follow-through skills
+ Experience working with cross-functional groups
+ Experience with data mining, and reporting
+ Experience with coaching/training other employees
Location: Valley, NE
Travel: Up to 15% domestic
Relocation: Is authorized
