Midwest Medical Transport Company is the premier privately held medical transportation company in the Midwest. With a portfolio of Ground and Air transportation spanning 7 states, 33 site locations and over 750 employees. We are seeking a self-motivated and detail oriented Human Resources Director to lead all facets of HR for the entire organization. The successful candidate will partner directly with leadership in consulting, designing, and coordinating the execution of organizational effectiveness, training initiatives, and strategic leadership in supporting a growing company.
Essential Functions

+ Lead the diagnosis, assessment, design and deployment of organizational effectiveness and training initiatives to instill a sustainable, systematic high-performance culture and associated behaviors.
+ Consult with individual stations and leadership in the development of master plans for each station to drive expectations and behaviors to align with the companies Mission, Vision and Core values.
+ Determine optimal approaches for leveraging existing tools and processes, or designing new ones, that improve individual and team capabilities in transition from traditional work to Continuous Improvement systems.
+ Strategic-level experience in management of Mergers and Acquisitions.
+ Establish, measure, and evaluate appropriate qualitative and quantitative metrics to assess progress and formulate recommendations of corrective actions.
+ Translates business priorities into property Human Resources strategies, plans and actions.
+ Coordinates the human capital review process at property(s) and leads succession planning activities on property and in the market, as appropriate.
+ Develops and administers various human resources plan and procedures for all company personnel.
+ Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization's compliance across multiple states.
+ Maintains responsibility for organization compliance with all federal, multi-state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
+ Communicates changes in the organization's personnel policies and procedures and ensures that proper compliance is followed.
+ Assists executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of the organization's wage, salary & benefit program.
+ Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by the CEO, on personnel matters.
+ Supervises the staff of the human resource department.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position regularly requires longer hours and weekend work.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Required Education and Experience
+ Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions
+ Bachelor's degree and four to 10 years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Minimum 5 years supervisor or management experience.
+ HRCI or SHRM Certification
Preferred Education and Experience
+ Master's degree.
+ Experience in the healthcare or EMS field.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
+ Current & valid state driver s license
+ Must pass company provided PCP physical capacity profile exam (post offer, pre- employment) & Drug Screen
+ Meet company policy MVR criteria
+ Must successfully complete company sponsored EVOC
