We have an immediate opening for an experienced Recruiter to join our hiring team who can make significant contributions to our growing Company. We are one of the leading property/casualty members of the Berkshire Hathaway group of insurance companies. Responsibilities of the position include:Developing recruiting plans to source candidates for open positions in consultation with hiring managers Identifying and effectively using job boards, appropriate social media and industry specific sites Writing job postings for a variety of Internet sites, publications, and collegesReviewing resumes to identify qualified candidates and consulting with hiring supervisor, manager, and/or department head to identify next steps Conducting telephone and initial office interviews and making candidate recommendations Serving as an effective Company representative using excellent customer service skillsDeveloping and maintaining partnerships with colleges and universitiesMaintaining strict confidentialityBachelor degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent 3:5 years related work experience including significant recruiting experience Experience using various recruiting sources including social media Knowledge of Human Resource laws and practices (EEO, Fair Labor Standards Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, etc.) Personal computer and related software such as Word, Excel, and Power Point Excellent verbal and written communication with all levels of the organization Work with a sense of urgency handling multiple high priorities Basic math through Algebra PHR preferred
