This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Sports Administrative Assistant performs a wide range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of YMCA Youth Sports programming. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Resolves administrative problems and inquiries. Assists in data entry of player registration.Manages program inventory, audits and analysis.Assists with team division and league set up.Answers and returns program phone calls.Processes financial transactions for participants.Develops and delivers participant communication.Prepares materials and attends volunteer coach meetings.Actively participates in branch and department staff meetings and/or trainings.
