Job Description:/h3:
The Sales Engineer position involves all aspects of sales, marketing, and customer relationship management for Graepel products throughout North America. The position focuses on increasing sales and growing volume with existing customers as well as acquiring new customers and developing long term customer relationships.

Essential Functions Statements
:Develop a competent knowledge of the market, including customers and competitors, based on the research and project lists already in place.
:Acquisition of new customers, intensive service to customers and regular visits of new and existing customers in coordination with Graepel North America and Graepel Germany.
:Recognition of customer needs as well as monitoring and evaluating market and competitor activities.
:Collaborate with Graepel Engineering to find new specific customer solutions.
:Maintain an open line of communication between customers and all levels at Graepel North America and Graepel Germany.
:Prepare and present quotations coordinated with cost calculations within company policies.
:Prepare estimates, drawings, and bids that meet specific customer needs.
:Monitor product quality and delivery performance.
:Provide feedback about market and competitor activities, sales prices, and intensity of customer relationships.
:Perform administration duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.
:Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
:Identify prospective customers following leads from existing clients and by attending trade shows.
:Travel on a regular basis to visit customers both domestically and internationally.
:Provide frequent feedback and reporting of all activities to Graepel North America Inc.
:Ability to work schedule determined by supervisory management.
:Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel

High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering preferred.

Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in business to business sales with small businesses as well as large OEM customers, preferably in an industrial capacity
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Outgoing attitude, strong negotiating skills, and persuasive power
Cooperative attitude and ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
Computer Skills:
Experience using MS Office Suite and Business Management Software
